World Speed Motorsports ran 4 cars this weekend at the Laguna Seca SCCA Regional/National weekend. Paul Campbell in his #14 Standard FM ran both events in the FM class, while Frank McCormick in the #15 Pro Formula Mazda ran the regional event in the FS class.  Patrick O’Neill ran both events, but in two different cars/classes. He ran his #64 Standard FM in the national FM class and his #64 Pro Formula Mazda in the regional FS class.

O’Neill had some on-track moments and started from the back of more than 50 cars twice. He was still able to put his head down and finish 3rd in FM on Saturday. On Sunday, McCormick brought his PFM onto the podium in second, and O’Neill finished right behind him in third.  Campbell had another excellent weekend and improved his times from the prior Laguna event.

World Speed is turning around the cars quickly as they prepare the cars for Wednesday’s test day at Infineon Raceway. O’Neill will be out in his Pro Formula Mazda in anticipation of the SCCA event there August 28th-29th.
