World Speed Motorsports is proud to announce that Austin Tiller will join the team as a full-season F4 driver for the 2026 Formula Pro USA Western Championships. Tiller’s signing follows a 2025 developmental program which included multiple testing days and a successful competitive debut.

Tiller has already demonstrated his potential behind the wheel of the Ligier JS F4. In late 2025, he competed in a Formula Pro USA race weekend at Thunderhill Raceway Park, securing impressive 4th place finishes in both races of his first event.

“I am honored to have the privilege to race with WSM for the 2026 season,” said Tiller. “From my very first interaction with the team, it was clear they were a best-in-class operation. I am tremendously excited to have the opportunity to race such iconic tracks alongside my new teammates.”

A Pathway to Professional Racing

Tiller’s journey to the F4 grid began two years ago at Radford Racing. While he had grown up driving various vehicles in different conditions, his introduction to the F4 platform was a turning point.

“Nothing was quite like the F4 car,” Tiller noted. “It was exhilarating to drive and after a few days in the car, I knew this was something I wanted to dive deeper into.”

Seeking guidance on the next steps for his career, Tiller consulted industry experts, including WSM alumnus and current NASCAR Cup Series driver Michael McDowell. The advice pointed him in one specific direction: Telo Stewart and World Speed Motorsports. Tiller began his official testing program with WSM in January 2025 at Thunderhill Raceway.

“It was perfect racing conditions for slick tires… 35 degrees Fahrenheit,” Tiller joked regarding his first test. “After working with WSM, again I wanted to develop more. I spent the rest of the year testing with the team at Sonoma and then finally in October, racing my first weekend. Every step of the way, it has been a pleasure working with the team.”

Telo Stewart added, “It is always rewarding to work with a driver who is as dedicated to the learning process as Austin is. From that first cold test day in January to his race debut in October, he has improved every time he gets behind the wheel. He fits in perfectly with the World Speed culture, and we look forward to seeing what he can achieve this season.”

The 2026 Formula Pro USA Western Championships season kicks off this March at Sonoma Raceway.

A Multi-Generational Legacy

Racing runs deep in the Tiller family. Austin’s grandfather, known affectionately to fans as “The Kentucky Colonel,” was a formidable competitor in the NASCAR Late Model Sportsman division for over two decades. A track champion and fan favorite in the Northeast, he competed at legendary venues including Martinsville, Texas World Speedway, and Daytona.

Austin now looks to carry that family legacy forward into open-wheel racing.
