2024 marks a significant milestone for Frank McCormick and World Speed Motorsports. Since his debut in the Star Mazda Series in 1994, McCormick has been a driving force behind the team’s success.

Over his 30 year stint with World Speed, he has progressed through various series, including Formula Renault, where he clinched the Sportsman Championship in 2003. His career also includes numerous victories in SCCA events in his Pro Formula Mazda and recent experience in F3 and Miata competition.

To commemorate this three decade milestone, World Speed commissioned a stunning painting by automotive artist Jimmy Parsons. The artwork showcases the diverse range of cars McCormick has raced under the World Speed banner, from his early days in Formula Mazda to his more recent endeavors in F3 and Miata. The painting was presented to McCormick at the 2024 Miata Reunion event at Sonoma Raceway.

As the 2024 racing season winds down, World Speed is gearing up for the Formula Pro USA season finale at Buttonwillow Raceway Park. With Val Garbarino already securing the F4 championship, the team is focused on clinching the F3 title with Jay Horak. Looking ahead to 2025, McCormick plans to continue his racing in select F3 and Miata events.
