We’ve all been struggling with current events, but even during this difficult time we’ve been able to get on track a decent amount. (with precautions of course) Here’s a quick look at what we’ve accomplished so far in this truncated racing season.

2020 Racing Highlights:
John Purcell opened up the Pro FM season with back-to-back wins at Thunderhill Raceway. Jay Horak is leading the FR Western Championship (F3) after six races. Cooper Becklin and William Ferguson completed their first F4 races of the season, and both secured podium finishes.

Formula 3 Test Days: Frank McCormick, Sean Prewett, and Howard Sklar
Formula 4 Test Days: Courtney Crone, Amanda Cartier, Alex Cornfeld, Cooper Becklin, William Ferguson, and Kyle Loh
Pro Formula Mazda Test Days: Jim Kitzmiller, John Purcell, and Jay Horak

Thunderhill’s Turn 2 Club Test Days: Provided test support to a half dozen open wheel racers

Schedule Updates:
In late 2019 WSM began planning to take Courtney Crone and Kyle Loh to compete in the 2020 Formula 4 United States Championship Powered by Honda. Now that plan has changed for both drivers to focus towards testing this season, and making the move in 2021. World Speed will continue competing in the 2020 Formula Car Challenge presented by Goodyear, and Formula Pro USA Championships as planned. Both of those series have updated their schedules
