The World Speed Lamborghini Super Trofeo team brought the heat to WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca this past weekend, fielding two Lamborghini Super Trofeo Huracans in a record-breaking 41-car IMSA race. The Super Trofeo races were the largest fields of the entire weekend.

Scott Huffaker took the solo wheel of the #22 Graham Prewett PRO class entry, while Jaden Conwright and Cam Aliabadi teamed up in the #15 QSR West PRO-AM car. “Both drivers and cars impressed right off the bat,” said WSM LST Team Manager Jan Trojan. “We optimized car setups and facilitated data sharing between the teams to maximize performance.”

The weekend saw major highlights: Aliabadi and Conwright rocketed to a 2nd-place podium finish in Saturday’s Pro-Am category, while Huffaker started strong from 14th and secured an impressive 5th place overall. Unfortunately, Sunday’s race took a turn for #15 when a competitor crashed them out before the start. Huffaker was clicking off consistent laps in the #22, clocking the second-fastest lap while navigating heavy traffic. He ultimately captured 3rd place in the Pro Class.

“These podium finishes reflect a true team effort,” declared WSM Team Principal Telo Stewart. “The entire team is laser-focused on results, and this weekend proves our capabilities. We’re building on this momentum and working towards even better results!”

The Lamborghini Super Trofeo North American championship heads to Watkins Glen for another double-header June 20-23.
