World Speed Motorsports ran 4 cars this past weekend, 3 in the SCCA Regional event at Sears Point and 1 in the FormulaTR event at Portland.

Both races were on Sunday and after a first lap incident at Sears took out 13 competitors the race was re-started. O’Neill jumped out front and took the win with McCormick finishing just behind him in second.

Later in the afternoon 500 miles away in the FTR Championship race at Portland, Mario Moraes fought hard with Marco Andretti for first place. Andretti was able to hold off the hard-charging Brazilian, and Mario finished in a respectable second place.

Now, WSM is preparing the cars for the upcoming Willow Springs FTR event, and the SCCA Thunderhill Regional in September.
