World Speed Motorsports is proud to announce that Marin County local Scott Pyle will join the team to compete in the upcoming Formula Pro USA F4 Championships.
Motorsport runs deep in Pyle’s bloodline. With a grandfather who was an amateur racer and a father who restores classic cars, Pyle grew up surrounded by speed. His own passion for the driver’s seat was truly ignited while working at Sonoma Raceway, where a single “hot lap” experience convinced him to pursue racing professionally.
Pyle brings a uniquely modern approach to the track. While earning a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from the University of Miami, he immersed himself in the hyper-competitive world of sim racing. This combination of analytical training and virtual seat time laid the groundwork for his transition to physical racing.
Following graduation, Pyle fast-tracked his development through the Skip Barber Racing School ladder. He completed their full curriculum and utilized their SimCraft simulator center to refine his technique. His hard work paid off during a partial 2025 season; showing rapid improvement from his debut at Watkins Glen, Pyle consistently paced with the leaders and capped off his rookie run with a victory at Laguna Seca.
World Speed Motorsports Team Principal Telo Stewart sees immense potential in the new recruit. “Scott has only spent a little time with us so far, getting fit in the car and doing some testing at Thunderhill, but we can tell that he is going to be a great fit for the team,” noted Stewart. “He’s very professional, is a real student of racing, and is inquisitive and interested in learning. This is exactly the kind of driver we love to work with.”
The first two rounds of the F4 championship take place March 7th – 8th at Sonoma Raceway.
