A formidable driver lineup has been unveiled for the upcoming Lamborghini Super Trofeo season, with IMSA race-winning talent Scott Huffaker spearheading the Graham Prewett Incorporated/World Speed Motorsports #22 Lamborghini Huracán. Joining him is Lamborghini factory driver Jaden Conwright, creating a potent combination focused on championship contention.
Scott Huffaker, who impressed with his pace and consistency during a limited 2024 Super Trofeo campaign in the #22 GPI Lamborghini, brings a wealth of experience to the team. His impressive resume includes Formula Ford 1600 and F4 championships, a Team USA Scholarship Award, and a prestigious 12 Hours of Sebring victory. Huffaker’s success extends beyond North America, with podium finishes in Europe and Asia across various racing disciplines, including multiple IMSA LMP2 race wins at Sebring.
Jaden Conwright, a Lamborghini factory driver, returns to World Speed, a team where his racing journey began. In 2014, he received the VMB Driver Development Scholarship, quickly proving his talent by winning the Formula Car Challenge FS championship in his rookie season. He continued his success with World Speed, securing the vice-champion title in the Pro Formula Mazda class in 2015.
Conwright’s career then took him to the international stage, achieving a third-place finish in the 2017 Asian FIA F3 series and nine podiums in the 2019 Porsche GT3 Carrera Cup Italia. Back in the United States, Conwright was awarded the 2022 IMSA Diverse Driver Development Scholarship.
“Stepping into Super Trofeo with World Speed support and Scott and Jaden behind the wheel is a perfect combination. I can’t wait to see them behind the wheel, pushing the limits and bringing home podium finishes for Graham Prewett Incorporated” stated car owner Sean Prewett.
World Speed Team Principal Telo Stewart expressed his enthusiasm for the driver pairing, stating, “Scott proved to be very fast in the races he drove in 2024, and we are thrilled to have him leading the charge. Jaden has a long winning history with World Speed, and we are excited to have him back on the team. We know what each of these drivers is capable of, and we’re excited to see what they will accomplish as teammates.”
Testing for the #22 GPI Huracán is currently underway, with the season opener set for March 12th-14th at Sebring International Raceway.
