Conwright went from success on the west coast to worldwide success. He competed in the 2017 Asian FIA F3 series where he finished 3rd overall in the championship. While racing in the 2019 Porsche GT3 Carrera Cup Italia he scored 9 podiums. Once back stateside he was awarded the IMSA Diverse Driver Development Scholarship in 2022.
Cam started by attending driving schools with Mercedes-AMG from October of 2016 and has since completed over a dozen classes across the United States and Europe, getting seat time in both touring and race cars on many well known tracks such as Laguna Seca Raceway, Circuit of the Americas, Spa Francorchamps, Nurburgring Nordschleife, etc. After winning the 2021 Lamborghini Pilota Program he decided to start his rookie year competing in the 2022 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series. He had a great 2022 season highlighted by 4 podiums, including a win at WeatherTech Laguna Seca Raceway.
“The new car showed up a few weeks ago, and when it got here we were still in negotiations,” stated Team Principal Telo Stewart. “The team got the car race ready and Scott Huffaker shook it down last week at Sonoma. We are really excited to bring Jaden back home, and to add a new driver to the WSM team. Having two competitive sets of drivers in the Pro-Am class is exactly how we wanted to show up to Monterey.”
World Speed’s other team car is the Graham Prewett Inc #22 being co-piloted by Scott Huffaker and Courtney Crone. The Monterey IMSA weekend takes place Friday May 10th through May 12th.
