Courtney Crone to Pilot the World Speed / Graham Prewett #22 Lamborghini for 2024 It was announced today that Graham Prewett Incorporated has chosen Courtney Crone to challenge for wins in the 2024 Lamborghini Super Trofeo North American Championship. Courtney Crone has been fortunate enough to race a diverse range of vehicles, including speedway motorcycles, dirt and pavement USAC Midget and Sprint Cars, various junior Formula Cars, and most recently, IMSA LMP3. 

“Stepping into a new role as a car owner in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series, Graham Prewett, Inc. (GPI) is proud to continue with World Speed support. We’re particularly excited to have secured Courtney’s talent, as she joins us in the thrilling chase for race wins and the title. I’ve had the pleasure of watching Courtney since her early days with World Speed. Witnessing her talent and dedication firsthand convinced me that GPI would be the perfect pit stop for the next leg of her career. I can’t wait to see her behind the wheel, pushing the limits and bringing home those podium finishes. We are all looking forward to testing,” stated GPI President Sean Prewett.

Some of Courtney’s notable achievements include winning the 2023 & 2024 IMSA Diverse Driver Development Scholarship and the 2021 Gorsline Company Scholarship. She is also a three-time winner of the Women’s Sports Foundation / Project Podium with Lyn St. James award, a three-time VMB Driver Development scholarship winner, and a nominee for both the Team USA Scholarship and W Series.

Crone has already secured multiple race wins and championships with World Speed support in the Formula Car Challenge and Formula Pro USA F4 Championships.

“We plan to sign two dynamic drivers who will be fully prepared to deliver for the team and we expect to see positive results at the beginning of the season,” stated World Speed LST Team Manager Jan Trojan.  “We spent 2023 getting the team ready for this, and we’re excited to get the ‘24 season started!”

Courtney’s co-driver will be announced in a future press release. The team will start testing the new pilots in the #22 GPI Huracán soon. The first race of the season will be at Sebring International Raceway March 13th – 15th.
