2012 Formula Car Challenge presented by Goodyear championship winning team World Speed Motorsports announced today that Bobby Eberle will be joining their squad for the 2013 season. Eberle will be competing in the Pro Formula Mazda class. Eberle is currently leading the 2013 Skip Barber Winter Series Master Class, and is in the top ten in overall points.
“Bobby has done a lot of Skip Barber racing and works closely with Standing Start coach Grant Ryley so his transition into the Pro FM has been very smooth,” stated Telo Stewart World Speed’s Team Owner. “We started testing him at the end of last year at Thunderhill Raceway and everything has just been clicking.” World Speed Motorsports and Eberle have already begun testing in preparation for the 2013 Formula Car Challenge presented by Goodyear season opener March 16th-17th at Sonoma Raceway.
“I’m excited to be racing with World Speed Motorsports in the 2013 Formula Car Challenge season. Their professionalism and commitment to winning are second to none,” noted Eberle. “From the moment I first met the team, I was sold. It’s an honor to be racing with this team, and I have no doubt they will help me become the best racer I can be.”
