VMB Driver Development has awarded California karter Dane Idelson the prestigious scholarship to train with World Speed Motorsports and compete in the 2025 Formula Pro USA F4 Western Championship.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Dane to the team this season,” stated World Speed Motorsports Team Manager Jan Trojan. “He impressed us as a finalist last year, and we’ve seen significant growth in his skills and overall performance since then. His dedication and talent make him a strong contender for the 2025 F4 championship.”
World Speed Principal Telo Stewart emphasized the importance of the VMB scholarship program. “World Speed is deeply grateful for the opportunity to continue supporting the VMB scholarship,” Stewart remarked. “We owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to Steve Bristentine, who founded this program, and to Andy Brown, whose tireless efforts have ensured its continued success for aspiring racers.”
Dane Idelson: “I can’t express how grateful I am to be given this opportunity by VMB. I am looking forward to an amazing season in Formula 4 with the team. Like many others, our family was caught in the Palisades Fire last month. We wouldn’t have been able to make the big jump to car racing if it wasn’t for this amazing opportunity. I’m excited to start this new chapter and ready to learn and grow with the World Speed team. I’m looking forward to contributing to their success and making the most of this incredible chance”
